What We Offer

Sheet sizes for A4, A3,A2, A1 and A0 in the metric system and Size A, B, C, D and E in the old imperial system are all scanned by us.

Our high resolution large formal scanners allow us to scan drawings up to an amazing 800 dpi resolution, which allows us to capture even the smallest possible detail. The scanners we use are amongst the fastest and most sophisticated on the market and have both top and bottom illumination which gives excellent image quality from film or tracing sheets.

We can also scan full colour maps and drawings in up to 24bits (16+ Million colours).

CAD OUTPUTS - Once scanned drawings can be loaded as a backdrop into CAD systems as Raster images or even converted by our digitising service into a fully structured CAD file with 1:1 scale dimensioning and proper laying standards as per your needs.

All of our images are processed after scanning. We despeckle, deskew and crop all images to obtain the best results.

INDEXING DATABASE - Where a large number of scanned drawings require to be accessed we can create a database to search for and retrieve for display the selected drawings.

PDF FILE CREATION - We can create PDF files from your scanned drawings. This is ideal for publishing your drawings to the web, intranet or on CD-ROM for your clients.

Drawings Scanning Working Procedure

1. Drawings can be sent to us by mail/courier or the drawings can be collected from your premises.

2. We would then scan these at optimal resolution settings to ensure, that you not only get the best possible result for the drawings, but also keep the image files sizes to the minimum. This would ensure that you are able to retrieve the required files in the shortest span of time.

3. If required, we would also prepare a customised indexing database for searching and retrieval of drawings.

4. The scanned image files will all be recorded on CD-ROMs or DVDs. We can provide a master set and any number of duplicates.
